My name is Jessica Boyer. I’m 29 years old and hail from Saskatchewan, Canada. I’m a writer, who can’t remember to blog regularly, but I’m using my passion for reading to stir my desire to blog. Hence, how I have found myself reviewing books for fun.
I have recently finished attending university part time and am awaiting my Bachelor of Arts degree. My major is English and my minor is Women and Gender Studies. It was all such great subject matter that I wish I could have taken all the classes.
I have two adorable trouble-making kitties named Olivia and Jaeger. Olivia is the dark one and Jaeger enjoys the orange spots.
I also have a puppy dog. Her name is Charlie and she is just as much of a trouble maker as her two siblings. She loves the snow and is full of energy.
I love thunderstorms and listening to the soundtrack of Titanic when I write. I’ve never published anything, but I hope to change that in the next year or so. I have finished the first draft of my novel now and am working through the editing process. Publishing is on the horizon.
I am a cis woman and a lesbian. I use she/her pronouns. I consider myself an ally to the LGBTQ* communities at large. I do my best, but I’m still learning. I appreciate any advice or help if something I write is not inclusive or does not consider a larger picture. I don’t pretend to speak on behalf of anyone from any group and will try to broadcast the voices of those who live those experiences.
I’m pro-choice, for proper sex education and against the death penalty. I’m agnostic, but I love learning about different religions.
